Things to Do/Activities

Georgia Aquarium

Georgia Aquarium is a non-profit organization committed to inspiring awareness and preservation of our ocean and aquatic animals worldwide.

World of Coca Cola

One of the most famous shapes in the world is the iconic contour fluted lines of the Coca‑Cola bottle. Renowned as a design classic and described by noted industrial designer, Raymond Loewy as the “perfect liquid wrapper,” the bottle has been celebrated in art, music and advertising. When Andy Warhol wanted a shape to represent mass culture, he drew the bottle and when Volkswagen wanted to celebrate the shape of the Beatle, they compared the car to the bottle. How did the bottle become so iconic? It began with the desire to protect brand Coca‑Cola and was a cooperative project between The Coca‑Cola Company and its bottlers.

Zoo Atlanta

Zoo Atlanta is directly involved in field conservation programs for wildlife and wild places around the globe, including work in Africa, Asia, Central and South America, and right here in Georgia. Our contributions range from funding for other established conservation organizations who share our mission, enabling a greater total impact in the field than might be achievable by a single organization, to projects in which our own staff are personally engaged in field work, community outreach programs, research and education programs on continents around the globe.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra unites, educates and enriches our community through the engaging and transformative power of orchestral music experiences. The core of our passion is the rich history of symphonic repertoire spanning centuries. We honor this body of work by holding ourselves to the highest artistic aspirations, bringing it to life in new and exciting ways. While we pay homage to the great masters, we also seek out new voices that speak to our contemporary landscape. As we perform, we engage the diverse international community of our city, bringing people together in harmony—including our youngest citizens, with extensive opportunities for youth and families to fall in love with music.
